So I like my 3rd cousin. We are both really close to each other. I can't stop thinking about her because she lives in a different state then I do. She is Bisexual and so am I. (i'm a girl). When I was with her over the summer she asked me would I ever have a "Thing" with family. I asked her what a " Thing" meant and she said its like dating. But I didn't know why she asked me that out of nowhere. While sleeping over her house she would rap her legs around my body and tell me not to move. Is it normal that I liked it.? Then the next day we went bowling and when I gave her a hug it was waayy longer than usual. I wanted to kiss her so bad. But I didnt. Any reason why she would ask me if I would have a thing with family out of nowhere.? Does she like me too.?

    If you're in the US, I believe it's legal to marry 3rd cousins in every state.

    Throughout most of human history, a relationship with 3rd cousin or closer would be considered completely normal, although dating another girl probably wouldn't.

    I also point out whenever this comes up (surprisingly often) that most people don't even know who all (if any) of their 3rd cousins are, and could easily be dating them without knowing it.
