Ok,so I am a male and my best friend is a female. We are both teenagers.(not going to be age specific for privacy and safety reasons) And she is very kind, funny, athletic, and beautiful. We've known each other since 1st grade and we have a lot of history. Everyone always tells us that we would be the perfect couple but we both just laugh and say no. We haven't talked about it before but i want to know what she thinks of me. I like her a lot but i don't want to lose her as a friend. Help. Is this normal?

    This is clearly not normal, infact it's pretty scary. I would look for psychiatric help immediately for the sake of those around you. This is too uncommon to be normal and you are a freak of nature!

    If you are a really smart guy, you will maintain this friendship until you both are older and have been through several relationships. Then, when you are both mature enough for a real relationship, you can get together and perhaps it will last a lifetime.
    If you get together now, as children, almost certainly it will get messed up and you will lose your friend as well.

    .... Mutually plan a date and go from there make it be somewhere that both of you are comfortable with and go super slow if it doesn't go anywhere then your meant to be just friends
