I really only like listening to male singers' voices. There's just something about it that I just like more than female singers' voices. I'm not sure if this is normal or if this is just me.
For me, it depends on the genre. With rock music I prefer male, but with R&B, I prefer female. With country, it depends on the kind of mood I'm in as female country and male country typically have two different sounds. When listening to accoustic, most of the time, I prefer female, but sometimes I like male.
It all just depends on the genre and what mood I am in for the most part, I guess.
I think it's normal to have a preference. I personally love both male and female voices. The one I prefer changes on a daily basis, usually depending on which I've listened to most that day. Today it's female vocals for me. I'm not too sure whether it's normal to only listen to one or the other, but it's certainly normal to prefer one. Try not to dismiss female vocalists though, because you're missing out on a lot of really fantastic music if you do.:)
I mainly listen to male singers. It's absolutely normal to have a preference.
I can't stand female vocals. Unless she's singing in any kind of harsh vocals, such as death growl or screaming. Clean female vocals make my ears puke.
Completely normal. Depending on the genre I think is where you'll find the most disparity though. Choral music is a prime example of this I think. I was in a men's choir consisting of 75-80 guys for three years there is no question that the sound we made was more appealing than the women's choir we sang with in concert. Not that they were bad, they were wonderfully talented. But everyone I talk to says there's just something about the male voice that is more pleasurable to listen to.
Yea I think that too. I mean I'll listen to some girl singers but mostly guy singers. I think it's because we're girls and we like to hear male voices or maybe we like what the guys are saying in their songs and would like for them to say it to us? Idk just a thought but yea I listen to mostly male singers. I'm not sexist or anything I just do
Actually I notice that most people tend to prefer male singers. I prefer female myself.
I just like a good voice doesn't matter if it's male or female if they can really sing and not gimmicky shitty robot voices then i will listen.
Of course it's normal. I know some males that prefer female singers. I like them both, actually. But some guys can really sign.
