Is it normal that i like gore and dark things?

I watch bestgore.com like everyday (trying to stop) and i find it funny and interesting and i love being alone and never want to leave my room, I like blood and I dont feel any remorse for my actions towards others. I never feel bad for anything that happens on the news, like killings and stuff. For example, when learning about the holocaust at school it didnt bother me at all. I never talk to anyone about my feelings. I also cant stand when animals are hurt though and id rather see a human die than an animal. Any ideas?

  • I feel exactly the same way, buddy. My boyfriend and I watch bestgore too, best site ever that.

I also don't feel much remorse over human beings dying. Out kind kills animals everyday, thinking we have some kind of right because we're supposedly superior to everything and everyone. I like it when our race gets knocked down a peg or two, especially when its done by an animal, like that stupid little kid on bestgore who was teasing the zoo's tiger and got his arm ripped off. Priceless.

And lastly, I also can't stand when animals get hurt. They're innocent and only attack when afraid or threatened. To eat too, but most animals don't eat humans, and certainly don't come into the cities and hunt and eat us the way we do with them. So yes, you're normal.

I used to be a gore hound. Long live Ogrish.

Emotional detachment is pretty easy when strangers who have absolutely no affect on your life die.

That said some of those old beheading videos definitely invoked some disgust and anger in me. I remember feeling like my brain was on fire when I first watching the Armstrong beheading several years ago.

It's unfortunately normal in the sense that we become numb to the feelings of others in order to protect our own feelings.

That said, you should look at rotten.com It's got some gross stuff on there. I used it when I was 15. It doesn't bother me but it isn't very interesting to me either.
