      Auch ich liebe deutsche Musik.
But the point is not that it is "German music". The point is that some of the greatest composers of classical music were born in Germany: Bach, Handel, Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn. And Austria with Mozart and Schubert is nor far from Germany and has the same language...
If you like these composers, you simply like GOOD music.
Also Chaikovsky, Debussy, Elgar, Barber, Pergolesi, Dvorak, Sibelius (and many more) composed high class GOOD music, and all these were non-German!

The nazis were those criminals who banned music by a genius like Mendelssohn, just to mention one symbolic detail. Germany did not produce ANY good piece of classical music in those darkest years of German history. It was a genius called Yehudi Menuhin who helped Germany to overcome that incredible downfall - by playing Beethoven's violin concerto less than 2 years after WW2, in the centre of Berlin, shaking hands with former nazi conductor Wilhelm Furtwangler.
      What a personality!
THESE are the people the world needs!
Why is it that even 67 years after the end of the nazi nightmare, US citizens still seriously ask Germans if they have concentration camps?

Only Rammstein and Tokio Hotel? Why not try Eisbrecher, And One, Melotron, Diary of Dreams, Coppelius, Welle Erdball, Devision, DAF, Peter Fox, Sido, Rotersand, KMFDM, Seabound, Diorama, or my current favorite Project Pitchfork? Or Silbermond, Xaiver Naidoo, Blutengel, Wir sind Helden, Die Fantastischen Vier, Blumfeld, Die Prinzen, or Deine Lakaien, though I have to admit I don't like this second bunch so much.

    Edit: Oh yeah... and Kraftwerk.
