I don't have access to a dildo and enjoy fucking myself with the handle of a wooden spoon. I put a condom over it so it's more lubed up and so that the spoon doesn't actually touch my insides. Is this normal?

I guess it's possible you have a vagina that's so snug or you're so tuned-in to the sensations that you can actually feel _something_ when penetrated with something as thin as a wooden spoon handle. Or maybe it's mainly the visuals that do something positive for you.
But if you're using the spoon anally, then I suggest that you reconsider. The tissues of the rectum aren't that robust, and it isn't that difficult to perforate the rectum with a thin, rigid object such as the handle of wooden spoon. You wouldn't necessarily feel this happen, and if you were too embarrassed to seek immediate medical attention when you noticed you were bleeding, then it most likely would become infected and this could be fatal.
You could multitask by masturbating & stirring a pot of goulash at the same time.
A bit weird however you claim you use a spoon because you dont have a dildo. If that is the case then it is quite normal tbh
