Is it normal that i like dating older guys?

So I'm a 20 year-old female, college student and I have a thing for older guys. Not like 30 years older, but just... Well, older than me. All the guys I've been with have always been older than me, ranging from only one wear to about 7 or 8 years, and I am totally okay with that.

Now I've started going out with this guy who is 10 years older than me, which is a personal record. So he's basically about to turn 30. I feel absolutely okay with this but my friends keep telling me it is a bad idea, and I've started becoming afraid of telling my parents because I'm afraid of how they will react.

My friends keep telling me I should start seeing guys my own age, or not that much older than me, but I am perfectly happy with this guy. People seem to think I'm some sort of golddigger or pervert or whatever. Is this normal?

    I think that's still in your age group. I feel like a guy ten years older is probably the max you can go though without having completely different mindsets.

      Agreed. But it's also VERY different from one person to the other.

      Seven years younger or older is my limit, and honestly I don't want more than three years older.
