Is it normal that i like commercials but i also loathe them

I love commercials. I love advertising as a media entertainment product. But, when a commercial appears as a forced interruption, I get really ANGRY. I think these types of ads need to die off. They don't work. People tune them out, usually. BMW has great film produced mini-movie ads. The Geico ads are short, random, funny (to me). There's plenty of them. I'm odd. Hey, I come from the world of advertising (short stint there). These old interruption style ads are a dinosaur that needs to go extinct. But, I still like ads. Ya with me on this? Normal? Not?
