Is it normal that i like cold weather more than warm weather?

I honestly hate it when it's sunny and hot out. I like it when it's gray, windy and cold. When it is sunny out, I either stay inside or when I do go out, put on tons of sunscreen and stay in the cool shade. I just like the cold, rain, wind, moon and snow more than the sun, humidity, heat and mosquitoes. Anyone else like the cold more? I've asked people in real life and the unanimous answer has been no, they like the hot weather more. Thoughts?
(P.S. I lived in Vermont for most of my childhood if that might make a difference.)

    Nah. All that hot weather is just dreadful to me. And I live in Florida, so you can imagine how fucking hot it is over here! I rather be uncomfortably cold rather than being uncomfortably hot.

    If the weather is hot you can't escape. It is normal to hate this. If it is cold, put some more clothes on or adjust your central heating, just as you like. Clearly preferable.

    Ski, skate, hockey, and winter picnics. Hot chocolate with rum by the fireplace. It works for me.

    I've always like cooler weather too. Spring and Summer both suck but Fall's nice and Winter's even nicer. It feels much better to experience the chills and lower temperatures that winter brings instead of the nearly unbearable heat (in my opinion anyway) and humidity that summer brings.

    I love the sun I can wear my short shorts ;) go to the river, watch the cows out in the fields. It can get too hot when your working outside all day in it though, on the plus side you do get a nice tan :D

    I'm the same I hate summer, I dislike the feeling of heat, I never understand the appeal of sunbathing, I get more headaches in summer andI always feel lethargic,
    Love winter though, the snow and the feeling of being in rain and finally getting home and being in the warmth, love it

    I live in South Africa, Durban.. Where winter doesn't exist.. We just call it winter cause we have seasons but otherwise.. Its summer all year

    I happen to like when it's cold enough to wear a sweater. (or a jumper as it's called by the British.)

    So I guess I'm like you. I'd settle for living in Vermont but my first choice would be Maine.
