Is it normal that i like barry manilow even though many people don't/

I have been a fan of barry manilow music since I was 12 and still like him even though I am 42, I even got to sit in the front row at a barry manilow concert, and was so close that I blew him a kiss when he was in front of me, and he acknowleged it, by winking his eyebrows!. I know many people don't like him
