It's perfectly normal regardless of what your peers think. If you're still pretty young, like the others said above, the difference may seem weird to some people. Kids in high school, for example, will find any and all reasons to tease other people. But if you really like this guy, what's it matter? How weird does 28 and 26 sound? Or how about 55 and 53? Heck, my step-dad was married to a woman 7 years older than him. It wasn't the age difference that made them split though. Good luck! <3
2 years is nothing, unless he's a minor. When I was 18 I was in love with a guy who was 15 and his mother almost pressed charges against me...such a small age difference can be very small or very big in the right circumstances. Now that I'm in my 20's I date guys up to 2 years younger or a few years older and it makes no difference at all.
i actually have the same problem right now. i have the same insecurities about it .. im seriously hoping the people above are right.
Yea it's fine my gf is 4 years younger than me. If your 16 and he is 14 it may seem a little weird because of maturity levels but The older you get the less it matters
My wife is two years older than me, we met when I was 19, we've been married for 15 years.
I dated a guy who was 3 years younger than me once and it was fun (: and I am now engaed to a man that is 10 and 1/2 yrs older than me... age is just a number ... unless a 30 something is with a teenager then its just creepy!!! But even if you are an adult and this guy is not as long and your not having sex then i dont see the problem...
Haha, Trust me, it's perfectly normal. :) Age is just a number! and don't be afraid of people's judgement. People who judge are people who are afraid of being judged :). Who cares what they think and live your life :) Good Luck
Unless you're an adult and he's a minor, I don't see what the problem is.
