Is it normal that i lie to my friends about sex?

Basically a lot of my friends have had a lot of sex. Most of them are actually capable of proving it, so I know that they're not lying.
I have never had real sex (2 girls offered me and I accepted, but I just couldn't do it when we got into the bedroom), though I've told my friends that I've had sex lots of times.
So, is it normal to lie to your friends about your own sexlife?

    I see no harm in it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people lie about their sexual conquests. Even if they're telling the truth, it's just good for them and nothing more.

    I did when I was at school. Everyone probably did. Nobody was getting any and yet we all passed ourselves off as a gypsy Russell Brand, even though none of us believed any of the others.

    I wouldn't lie about it now, though, and if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have lied about it then, either.

    You are fortunate you had the option to lie about it - it's none of anyone's business but your own. I think that if I could, back then, I would have lied about it too. Everyone in town new about my status AND they knew when I lost it, I was prime fodder for gossip at the coffee shoppe for weeks. It was beyond embarrassing because there was never any room for discretion!

    I guess it's normal especially for guys of a certain age, but that doesn't make it right.

    As for not being able to perform when you had the chance, my boyfriend had the same problem before we were together. There was a girl, he was kind of dating her but didn't quite feel right about her, they were there and about to do it but he just felt off and couldn't perform. I think it's completely normal, and says a lot about who you probably are that you couldn't go at it with someone you probably didn't care much about. When my guy was finally in love (with me) he had absolutely no problem at all! So buck up, don't worry about it, and find the girl of your dreams. Meanwhile, stop lying. What's worse; a liar, or a virgin?

    Idk we really dont have that problem here with my friends. Like my friends that dont get it wont lie they will say oh yeah none for me lol. They dont care and honestly the guys that do get sex on a regular basis dont care.

    Happens aaaall the time. Even your friends in stable long-term relationships might not be having sex. I dated a girl for over two years, we decided to tell our friends we were having sex while we weren't. It's just easier than having to go through all the peer pressure crap they try to put you through

    A load of people does it, espescially in High School! Next year a lot of classmate lied about it.
