Is it normal that i laughed at someone who nearly died?

Someone in front of me fainted and stopped breathing for a second and I had to stop myself from laughing out loud. I think I kind of wanted to see what would happen if they died. Is this normal?

    Laughter is a pretty normal response to a sudden "WTF" situation. And wanting to "see what would happen" is pretty much the mark of an intelligent species. That's why people create new foods, watch movies, do science, touch hot things, and slow down as they pass horrendous car accidents. It's human nature. Don't worry about it; you aren't a monster.
