Is it normal that i kind of spasm? (not sure what it is)

I'm going to cut down to the point.

Just a few minutes ago, I had this weird sensation in my arm that gave me this need to just repeatedly press something (I'm on my laptop). I've had this happen to me times before in the past, and in different ways. A time when I was in school, I had that same sensation and that same STRONG urge to do something over and over again, so then I started to write the letter 'e' over and over and over. The page I was writing on was filled to the brink with 'e's. My eye also started to twitch. And the strange thing is, while I'm doing this weird spasm thingy, it feels good. So someone please tell me, is it normal?

That sounds a little bit like OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder). I don't know a whole lot about it, but you should look it up.

It's not normal behaviour O.o but it seems like something to be aware of. If it keeps happening and starts getting in the way of things you should get it checked out.

I had something like that years ago. I randomly got the need to tap my leg 5 times rapidly throughout the day. I also needed to press my fingers against my eyes and rub them. Once I started to I couldn't stop, your right it just felt too good. It does sound like an O.C.D tendancy but that can often be caused by something else I didn't realise untill after i was diagnosed that A.D.D. can cause this. Its normal but it might be worth finding out whats causing this it might get worse

I get spasms every now and than. I was told it is normal. If you do a lot of physical exercise this might mean your muscles are stressed. I was told it is normal for athletes or people who exercise a lot.

    Not sure. Could be ocd.
    Hard to say.
I have things like this happen to me daily, all day long.
I have a different diagnosis for it though.
