LOL, it's so weird.I don't really find him sexy, but he is just sooo cute, like a combination of a cartoon robot and an adorable 5 year old.I'd probably want to date a guy like him if he had at least a little less kiddishness (is that a word?) and tiny bit more manliness.Is that crazy?

yeah, Sheldon is sussposed to be a character with undiagnosed aspergers. The producers of the show have even said this. I have aspergers too and an immature robot is a pretty good description. I have a lot in common with bender from futurama. I thought it would be good for the op to meet a guy with aspergers. we don't have a very successful time finding dates and its good to know some people are attracted to social awkwardness.
but "His mother had him tested" as he said. If they tested him wouldn't they have classified him with asperger syndrome?

To everyone else again the actor that plays Sheldon is called Jim Parsons and anyone saying he's a cocksucker or anything like that he's irritating for example jesus he's meant to be it's who he plays in the show! Like howard playing a sex craved lunatic that would do anything to get a woman or raaj who 'can't speak to women unless he's drank!' Jesus christ it's like saying OMG did you see who died in eastenders that made me cry. It's not real just for entertainment!
I think he is hilarious but he dates amy on the show and since I'm not like her I doubt it would work out for me haha he is cute though
I'm pretty sure this is as normal as normal gets. Especially if you noticed all the other fangirls on this site that rave about a fictional character.

I think its normal. I love Sheldon too. Everyone says I act like him so maybe that's why. I have the same habits and the same type of mind set. The only point in which I differ is his idea of religion. I believe everyone is free to believe what they wish and should not be judged long as there rituals and beliefs are not hurting anyone. I would want to be his friend in real life.
i really like him too. He's so different and special, i think that it's normal to have a crush on him cause usual guys are so normal and they all look alike somehow.i wish i could meet some one like him :p
I have a kinda a crush on Raj & Leonard from that show. So yes, it's perfectly normal. (Didn't know that Sheldon has Aspergers, just thought that he was really "anal" 'cuz he's a genius; good 2 know, Lol.)
People keep coming to that conclusion. The anal behaviour could probably be classified as OCD though if anything.

I don't think he is narcissistic. He just doesn't understand others behaviour so he doesn't generally care about how others feel. That has nothing with his lack of sympathy it comes from lack of understanding. He reacts logically not emotionally and unlike most of his friends he lacks such motivations. Despite this is he still sometimes very petty and stubborn.
I not sure this would count as autistic either though. Since its classified in the personality type INTJ. He also seems to have high standards for himself and his friends though.
If he was narcissistic he would not care about others. You see in the Christmas episode he cares a lot about penny. He could not figure out what to get her. Since he wanted to get something which appropriately showed how much he cared about her.
He got her a pile of gifts and said "Its not enough is it"? So he gave her hug. Despite the fact he hates physical contact. Again a trait that could be associated with OCD. Since people with OCD do sometimes end up being gemophobes. Sheldon is a huge germaphobe. Also the obsessive compulsive 3 knock is defiantly an OCD symptom.

And I also don't think he is NPD kind od narcissistic, but he definitely isn't very modest and low-maintenance. He knows he is a genius and he expects special treatment.
No he is not low maintenance but than when you think about it is anyone with OCD low maintenance? No, not really. Do people with OCD mean to be the way they are? No but they are like that.
It has nothing to do with entitlement. Its the fact they are incredibly bothered if things are not exactly how they like it. You notice when one of his friends says he drank from the wrong drink he panics.
When he shakes hands he carry's sanitizer or uses a napkin so he does not touch people. That is a lot like what a person with OCD would act like.
Does that have anything to do with entitlement? No, its with comfort. Further more OCD is listed as an anxiety issue. Meaning they do these things to keep from becoming anxious.
He is good looking yes, but his character is annoying as fuck.. then again so is most of the people on that show. I kind of like raj and walowitz though.
