Is it normal that i keep thinking for others as if i'm they themselves

Everytime someone makes a fool out of themself like a bad answer in class or bad singing and everyone is laughing, I feel very embarrassed for them. When people quarrel with their friends or get bullied, I feel upset and spend hours thinking about it. When I read an article and example, if it says "Britain prime ministers says..." I will read the article in my head with a british accent. Or "obama delivers his speech," I read his speech in my head with his voice. When I see someone with a disorder or weird illness on tv, I research about it for days and wondering what the person is doing now, how he copes in his life everyday.
