Is it normal that i keep seeking relationship online / through skype ?

I am a 23-year-old female.

I've been feeling lonely for a long-long-long time.
Ever since I left high school, I been wandering.

I have a hard time focusing on what I do and I feel like my life is a failure. ( I know I am a murmur and murmur is annoying )

Then I found out this website called : chatroulette.com

Ever since then, I keep going on it whenever I want an escape and I would look for good-looking guys and talk.
98% of the guys on that site are looking for looking at girls getting naked or want to perform the so-called sex. ( cam-sex ? that's really weird and stupid and I am NOT into that ! )

I want to get a life and I am a very timid person, please help.

    Honestly, it sounds like am enormous waste of time, especially for someone like yourself who struggles with shyness and timidity. I think what would serve you best would be to get out there in the real world and seek out activities you enjoy. Take a class in something you're interested instead of wasting your time on this dial a creep site. There are a myriad of things you can do to get out of your shell like taking a class, joining a meetup you're interested in, going to church and participating in church activities, volunteering for a charity you care deeply about. I know it's not easy, because I struggle with a bit of the old social anxiety, but what folks like us need is to broaden our horizons and face our fears not isolate ourselves online with a bunch of perverts looking for Skype sex.

    There is nothing wrong with seeking out a relationship online. I met my husband on the internet and i have met an ex on the internet as well. As a matter of fact, a lot of people consider it the norm nowadays.

    Well, with Skype at least you can see the person you're chatting with. Just don't rely too heavily on it and look into other ways of meeting singles offline.
