Is it normal that i keep having crushes on my teachers?

Yeah - you sound like me. You are attracted to intelligent, caring and interesting men who are older than you, secure and sexy. I have been there and I am still there - same problems, different place. I am now interested in my doc! I did date a teacher long ago. I did not see him in an unprofessional light while in his high school class. I didn't like his class even. But after graduating I went into the army and joined up - asked him about it as he was also in the military. He gave me his number - and we ended up hitting it off and dating on and off. Overall, I don't recommend it. If the teacher is willing to do something with you - big mistake - as there are others he is willing to get with as well. 10 yrs after first meeting and dating my teacher, he is on FB now and I know he is dating students - maybe right after they graduate. He is now 43 and they are what 18 - I don't know why I am telling you all this -just know it is normal and make sure you find the right guy with morals.

Probably just a sexual attraction to figures of authority, not unnormal.

Hot older sister was a teacher, and had this every year. Most of the time, it was harmless and a short-term crush, maybe some notes or compliments about her body, a hug that went a hint too long, etc..But manageable for her. There were a few, though, who went too far and into stalking mode. Knew where she lived, her schedule, would knock on her door at night, even who with at times. Those were the ones to handle good and early before it got very bad.

They're in a position of power as well as a respected intellectual, of coarse you'll find them attractive.

I used to be the same...you'll get over it. I was in a relationship with a teacher and had dates with others. As I got older, matured, and became educated...I was no longer impressed haha!
