Is it normal that i keep good things to myself?

Whenever I read a really good book, hear a great song or watch a good film I never want anyone else to know about it. I keep these things really secret and hope that nobody else finds out about how great they are. I don't know why I do this really selfish thing. I do really hate other people taking credit for something I said or did though.

When I find something nice I make sure I spread it to everyone I know.

You like the solidarity of your own pleasure. Own...pleasure.....self...pleasure...pleasuring self? Train of thought.

Let me guess. Are you the kind of person that stops liking something when everyone else starts to like it?

      That's so mainstream.

Not really if you think about it.It's being an individual, pulling away from the pack so to speak.

well everybody kind of does that.. so its like the other side of the coin. when they're separated the same game of belonging starts again.

Sure. Everyone is a little selfish.

But going as far as information on movies and books is quite odd.

If you hate when people take credit, maybe you're worried that you;ll show someone the song (or whatever it might be), and that they will show others and take credit for finding that good thing.

That is most deffinitely it. It has happened before, mostly by my sister who I am most keen to keep things from.
