Is it normal that i just want to kiss someone?

I'm 22. I've never had a relationship. I've never been on a date. I've never kissed anyone. I am usually totally fine with all of these facts, but lately I just really want to kiss someone.

I think I just want to know what it feels like. I don't want a relationship or anything; I know myself fairly well, and I'm nowhere near mature enough to handle a boyfriend.

But this hasn't happened before. I've spent my life pretty much ignored by everyone I meet, and while I imagine that one day I'll be ready for a relationship, I certainly don't see it happening anytime soon.

Anyway, am I as crazy as I think I am?

    You're not crazy at all. There are websites out there for people to hook up in all kinds of ways, but not just to kiss. I don't understand why. There are plenty of times over the past two years when I've thought, "I really wish I could kiss someone right now". But it's not like you can just go an ask a stranger, is it? And if you do meet someone and kiss them, the implication is that it must go further.

    We should set up a website for people who would just like a bit of kissing, or hand holding, or even a hug. Although I guarantee it'd be full of men trying to push things further. :/

    Yes, that is normal. I often get the urge to just be close to someone. Just physical contact would be nice.
