Is it normal that i just seem to eat the same thing, alot, in phases?

I'm a size 8, weigh 8 stone and am around 5ft6 in height but I have this problem that I'm trying to kick. I eat the same food excessivly until I am sick of it or I cannot get it anymore. An example is Choclate coated apples that you get around Halloween/Bonfire night. I had around 12 a day for 2 weeks and not much else. I could not stop eating them and kept going back to ASDA getting more until I took the last 4.
Then when that season passed, I moved onto ready baked yorkshire puddings. I just eat them in packs of 12 on their own, bag after bag. And when they're out of stock I just eat the large ones instead.
Lately I have been eating ALOT of brie cheese and crackers. I'm eating the brie on its own like a slice of cake and I'll often get mozzerella balls and just eat it in the space of a minuite.
Is this normal, can anyone offer advice to stop this? Or is it just gluttony..:(

I used to do that too!

It used to have a bit do with me not having much money to buy food but I've tried to wean myself off of eating the same all of the time because it will eventually make me malnourished but it's been a tough ride. It's not that I don't like trying new things it's more like I have an itch, a food itch that only that food will scratch until I can't ever eat it again.

I agree with the above, yours does sound a bit like gluttony or bingeing.

I'm in the same boat as you!

I buy literally the same food and type of food every time I do food shopping.

I usually buy brown bread, but now I'm SICK and tired of eating brown bread. I don't know why but when I bought Wilburton's Milky Bread, everytime I put it in the oven with cheese on top, the taste is awesome.
But when I do with Asda's Brown bread, the taste is different. Recently I just bought Asda's White bread and the taste was not on par with the Milky Bread. I'm going back to the milky bread type.

But yours does sound like Gluttony but I'm not sure.
My dad does the same thing back in the day, just cuz i said i like rice pudding. He'll buy nothing but rice pudding every f*king time. And it pisses me off!

I just think you are addicted to food, if you try something new and taste good, you'll keep going back to it.
I just suggest you try new good all the time
