BMW drivers tend to drive like assholes... But I'm not judging them.
Oh... Wait...
I drive a big ugly red van. Not sure what kind cus the grill was missing when I got it.
I kinda do the same. You can tell a lot about a person by the type of car they buy. Since I'm young and poor, all I care about is how long it will last. When people my age buy fancy cars that don't last long, I'm tempted to judge.
This is irrelevant, but where u from ? I used to have that stereotype thing that ppl of a certain nationality are in love with red audis haha seen many of them driving red audis dunno if its a coincidence
"20, female driving a red audi tt 2014"
Strip much ;)
Most likely Choices:
A.) Stripper, sex worker (perhaps cam over internet)
B.) Got a sugar daddy / married a guy with money.
C.) Daddy's money
D.) Or lottery winner (not likely).
E.) Self made through a respectable business (Hell no).
Just curious here, which is it?
I always got a kick out of being at the same place, at the same time, in my Toyota pickup, that cost me about 10g's, as the $95,000+ Benz beside me at a stop light.
My truck had 375,000 miles (Keys to Alaska twice, Keys to California 6 times, Keys to RI dozens of times, etc.) on it when I sold it (because I sailed off to the Caribbean for good) and over 14 years, NEVER broke down and cost less than a grand in repairs and still looked pretty damn good.
Same place at the same time does equal same experience and it's experience that counts.
I've driven many vehicles from pieces of shit to luxury cars costing $100k+ and I can tell you people definitely treat you differently, especially females.
The personal experience driving a much higher quality vehicle is also satisfaction.
Believe me, a very expensive vehicle feels much better to drive than a Honda Accord or a pickup truck, lol.
If none of those things are important to you well there's nothing wrong with that but I happen to enjoy quality things in life and they make a difference to me.
I much prefer to wear a nice quality shirt even if it only cost me $20 bucks than wearing a T-shirt.
The quality dress shirt was made with more care, feels better to me and looks much nicer on me making me feel better.
A bonus is of course girls really love it when a guy knows how to dress so girls (and guys) are nicer to me.
I've never had any interest at all in meeting girls who were impressed by what I drove or wore. Those sorts of girls aren't anyone I want to be with.
As to the "feel" of a vehicle, reliability is much more important to me and I'm pretty sure a 100k+ vehicle isn't going to make 375,000 miles without costing an arm and a leg.
But to each his/her own; that's why the gold diggers have boyfriends and the luxury car market exists.
I guess you're not aware that there are high quality cars which are also very reliable.
Some people appreciate quality others don't.
To each their own.
I guess you think I'm really stupid; "I guess you're not aware that there are high quality cars which are also very reliable." I have owned and driven cars of all sorts, including one vehicle that cost over 550k, but none more reliable than the Toyota mentioned above.
All high end cars require expensive maintenance; I doubt even you would dispute that fact, which is what I was alluding to. Cost does not necessarily mean quality these days.
I've not owned a vehicle since we left for the Caribbean 26 months ago (our Zodiac is our Ferrari), so it's all a moot point to me, and I may never own one again; no big loss in my mind.
What if someone is driving someone elses car? Then what? I hate when i have to borrow my moms car. I don't want people thinking that i'd actually purchase that thing!
I'm much happier driving my hunk of crap. It says a lot about me, nahm sayin?
