I used to judge, but... hate? Never. I stopped doing it when I realized *I* was the one missing out. There are wonderful people who love really, I mean, really really reaaaaally shitty music. It's beyond me! ♫
When I meet new people, I ask them if they like the Rolling Stones and the Big Lebowski. If they say no, I know they're shitty people.
Why does music have to matter so much? I guess I find it normal that you judge others based on music taste, but you shouldn't hate someone just because they don't like some of the things that you do.
This reminds me of metal heads with mohawks who think they're better than everyone else. When I meet a person with shit music taste based on what I listen to I think huh sorry for you you're missing out on real music, give them a bit of banter here and there because people should not be the same and like the same things imagine how awful that would be generic music taste, clothes etc Individualism is always great and besides the differences in music taste is the way we sometimes discover new bands.
