Is it normal that i judge people based on their appearance?

I don't mean if they're ugly versus attractive, or if they dress "normally" or scene or goth or punk or whatever. I mean people who don't care about their appearance. They have no hygiene and they always wear the same baggy, smelly, distasteful clothes and their hair and skin is super greasy and look like they've never taken a shower. Is it normal that I hate people like that before I've even met them?

    Maybe they have been ill for awhile or are battling depression. Maybe they have had a loved one pass away or are struggling parents of a new baby. There are plenty of circumstances that you could be unaware of if you just saw them at the grocery store one night. If you aren't around them afor at least a couple hours a week, how can you judge them? We all have struggles in our lives that sometimes take priority over appearance.

      That's true. Even models look like crap sometimes ei shopping hungover but the same night they look awesome.

    People are always judging you based on a number of reason. Fair? Maybe not but that is life.

    I will say it's a normal thing to judge some one by looking at them, but I have to agree with some of the comments. They may be dealing with issues that you don't know about.

    Don't judge a book by it's cover. Some of the people you see may have lost their house their car a good job and can't find one.
