Is it normal that i judge a tv series by its opening?
I only ever watch a TV series if I like its opening, if I don't like the opening I just completely give up on it all together, I don't even bother watching the first episode. Is that normal?

Yes, I'd say that's normal.
The opening generally makes or breaks a series.
I do that allot too. This is one of the many reasons why I don't watch the typical cliché bullshit on TV. I prefer british comedies and other creative things:)
Long Live Creativity!!!!
I'd say it's normal but it really shouldn't be. Give the program it's day in court.
You can usually tell how boring something is by the way it starts. Yes it's normal x
I'd have missed out on a lot of great TV if that were the case. The Twin Peaks opening credits always puts me to sleep, but the show is amazing. I do appreciate a good opening sequence though. The one for Dexter is perfect in tone - always puts me in the right mood for the show.
Never judge a TV series by its opening, because they can be misleading sometimes. Take the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, for example. Cutesy, cheerful opening, but it starts being, shall we say, incongruous with the rest of the show starting towards the end of episode 3 and for the rest of the entire series.
Yep. I don't do that though, but it's totally normal. But you should really try watching some, maybe you'll like it
