Is it normal that i jerked off with my friend?

Okay, so I’m a guy and my friend is a guy. We are both straight but there was one time I was at his house and something happened. It started when we got back from a basketball game in the afternoon one weekend. I was crashing at his place and we decided to watch a movie. I was sitting on the couch slouched down really far, it is a really comfy couch, i never saw the move but my buddy had. I was asking questions about the movie becuase it was in a series of movies that I had seen most of. I am one of those guys who absentmindedly plays with himself all the time. Thw only reason I know is because my parents have called me out on it and so have friends. My friend is the same way. Anyway, I guess i was grabbing myself through the gymshorts i was wearing and he was doing the same. The movie wasn’t remotely sexual in anyway but i guess when I realized what he was doing i started playing a little more intentionally.

After a while i guess i forgot about what was going on and had stopped paying attention to what he was doing and started watching the movie more intently. I, without thingking, slipped my hand into my shorts and started scratching and playing with my junk. I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye and saw my buddy was doing the same thing.

We weren’t sitting on the same couch. I was on the couch and he was in a recliner at a 90 degree to the couch on the opposite side from where i was sitting and he was wearing a similar outfit to mine, tee shirt and gymshorts.

Rabbit trails! Sorry. Anyway, I had no intention of what happened next but I started getting a little... excited while playing pocket pool. Next thing I know I am slowly jerking off in my shorts. I guess he must have noticed and was doing the same thing.

Again I got back interested in the movie and started noticing movement out of the corner of my eye. It glanced over and it was very obvious he was excited too. I looked down at my lap and I was pretty oncious too. At one point his dad came in to ask if we wanted anything cause he was going to the store. Obviously when we heard the door we both shifted positions where we were sitting to hide the excitement but as soon as he left we both continued slowly jerking inside our shorts. We never took them out.

The movie ended and we sat where we were obviously waiting for things to settle down. So we decided to call it a night as it was getting late and he went to his room and I went to the guest room. I noticed that he was still excited when he went to his room. I was too. I ended up finishing when i got in bed. I don’t know if he did or not but that is my story.

Is that normal?
