I involuntarily look at other girls (adults) and/or women, and I'm female and straight. They're not necessarily good-looking, sometimes even old, but for whatever reason I find myself looking at butts, mostly. I used to look at my friends' chest as well. Is this normal?

On the one hand, I agree with both of his paragraphs, but on the other hand, I think it's normal for men and women to compare themselves to other people, completely involuntarily even.
I would say this is pretty normal. I'm a guy and I look at everyone female and male involuntarily. I just look at people and decide what I like, what I don't, and then think about why it doesn't matter. It's all just automatic, I bug myself doing it.
You could be comparing yourself to them.
It is often said that a handsome man will turn the heads of all the women, but a beautiful woman will turn the heads of all the men and all of the women as well.
I'd like to believe that this common. This isn't the first time I've seen a post about a woman looking at other women. I think that you admire those women's features, which a lot of people do as well, so I think you're normal.
