Is it normal that i imagine a 'gender-switched' lifestyle?

Well, it's not always just me in my life. Sometimes it's everyone, sometimes it's my best friends and crushes. If it is just me, I usually picture me and one of my friend's falling in love. My imagination makes it sex sometimes, and sometimes it ends with betrayel and rape. I almost always imagine a wedding at the end, sometimes an epilogue where we have kids, etc. I've written stories, comics, and dreamt about these thoughts constantly. I wish they were real so bad!!!! Why can't I live like that? Even the ones I turn out unhappy at the end! (By the way, I'm not really a girl, I just tend to always hit the 'female' box when I sign up)

    I think you may have a lot of gender exploration to do. Gender roles and gender identity are very fluid in this day and age and is much more acceptable than it was previously.

    I'm a straight, biological female, born female, raised female and have no wishes nor inclination to change my gender / sex or to ever become a boy but every once in a while, I might have sexual fantasies about having a penis and how it would feel like to fuck someone (instead of being the one being fucked).

    I guess Freud may have been onto something on the whole penis envy front.
