Is it normal that i hope the "royal baby" will be gay?

The monarchy in England has been pretty dull for the past 300 years with the last monarch even rumoured to be homosexual being Queen Anne who died in 1714. I think we could do with a gay prince to spice things up a bit, and when he gets married it could be the first ever gay royal wedding and I would be alive to see it which would actually make me proud to be British (for the first time ever). Does anyone else share this hope of mine?

I agree it could be, but I'm not that easily offended.

Frankly, it's none of my business what a buncha English people do in their bedrooms or palaces.

Why would that make you 'proud' to be British?

I'm all for the universal acceptance of homosexuality, but it shouldn't be a point of pride that some guy who was born into a monarchy happens to be gay. It's not some kind of achievement is it? It just is. And why would a gay royal wedding be a point of pride for you? It's not like the British public would have any say in whether or not there was a gay royal wedding - it would happen with or without your permission or acceptance.

Also, why is THAT the first and only thing that would make you feel proud to be British? I mean, in terms of achievements, Britons have:

    Invented the telescope.
    Invented the steam engine.
    Started The Industrial Revolution.
    Created the Smallpox vaccine.
    Invented the telephone.
    Invented the television.
    Invented the world wide web.
Created these musical genres: Metal, punk rock, trip hop, shoegaze, drum and bass, grime and dubstep.
    Etc. etc.

But a gay prince getting married is the only thing that would make you feel proud to be British?

Anyway, I don't care about the royal baby. Gay, straight, lizard... It makes no impact upon my life. So I don't share your hope.

I read somewhere that it's a "known" secret that Prince Edward is gay and his "wife" is someone who has just been paid to act out the role and that their children are really her children with her real husband but obviously not Prince Edward's children.

I don't think the British royal family is boring. What about that princess they kept in the attic all her life?

It's very unlikely, as a child of the royal family is more likely to be raised with proper values and morals and not be encouraged to go against nature.

There are so many gays in today's society due to the brainwashing of the media.
People are encouraged that it's okay to "try" the wrong sex, and some just stick to it.
It is so deeply ingrained in their personality at that point, that it's almost impossible to change.

People that are raised in a decent household with proper morals and values are far less likely to be gay as they are shielded from the brainwashing of all the pro-gay propaganda, and thus, their mental development follows nature's course of being attracted to the opposite sex.

If the royal baby is raised as well as I think it will be, then it won't be gay.
Of course, that depends entirely on the parents - if they, themselves have been brainwashed, they may raise it differently and it turns out gay.
However, this is unlikely as they were most likely raised properly themselves and will not install homosexuality in their children.

By the looks of it, I'm a hell of a lot smarter than you.

You're either a brainwashed sheep or a faggot.

So it's the media's fault? That's your angle?

Consider that people have not changed their habits, maybe the subject is just more openly discussed these days.

You seem to have "Everyone on the internet is an idiot but me" syndrome. Quite common.

Morals & values? Brainwashed sheep? These phrases are hardly the calling card of a thoughtful person.

I, like the OP am also disagreeing with you. Are you gonna call me names too?
