When I was 9 years old I first got morning wood. On the funnier side, my best friend is 15 and he just hit puberty. Big time. Hah.

    I didn't realize getting a boner meant you are going through puberty. I remember getting stiffies at age 5 or younger.

    I was 9 too when I started puberty but instead of morning wood I got my period. What a scary day that was! The weirdest thing is that I had begun growing a jungle of pubic hair on my crotch a long time before my puberty ever started.

    You can get an erection prior to puberty.

    Yeah I'm not sure about guys but I started going thru puberty when I was 8. I was an early developer though. My lil bro has been going thru it for about a year now and hes just turning 13. I wouldn't freak out about it though - everyone is different. Ax

    Guys usually start puberty at around 12, so starting at 9 isn't normal. However can't guys get erections from birth? does morning wood = puberty starting?

      Yeah, I'm pretty sure males are capable of getting erections from birth. That doesn't mean they've hit puberty early, that's nonsense.

    *sigh* Puberty starts when you ejaculate for the first time. Babies can have erections and cases of babies having hard-ons while in their mom's belly aren't unheard of IIRC.
