Is it normal that i hear several me's in my head?

Sometimes when I'm thinking I begin to here 2-3 different versions of myself with my own voice arguing over decisions to make and what i should do. Sometimes when im doing homework and i lose focus and space out, i begin to hear the two voices arguing again telling me to focus, usually one voice is friendlier but the other one is alot tougher and more critical. Its like they play good cop bad cop to get me to make decisions and stay on track when im working. The one thing that i do know is that they voices thought processes are coming from my own brain.

Sounds like it's your subconsciousness contrasting the pros and cons of a decision you have to make or just anything that occupies your mind and could distract you from doing homework.
Surely not everyone has it but it's nothing to be worried about as long as you keep control over your actions and don't feel overwhelmed or even controlled by your voices.
If it bothers you kick into rational mode and everything should turn out fine, works for me at least.

In a way I agree with what you are saying. Have you read about Sigmund Freud's research based on he unconsciousness consciousness. We have 3 different variation of how we think. Most(60%) of it will come into play when we are asleep, however the remaining 40% is when we are awake. The super ego is the brave, courageous and moral part of who we are. Then you have the casual basic version (ego) and last but not least the ID (Or as I like to call it... Our dark passenger) which correspond to the thought which are illogical and inhuman. The parts which make us do strange thing and act out of line. The part of us which tells us to jump when we are looking out off the roof of a tall building. In m perspective I found his research quite fascinating.

  • Listen to the voice that sounds the most violent.

That is the real you. Make sure to do what it says as well, no matter how crazy it sounds.

Its not multiple personalities. It seems normal to have an internal dialogue so why does it have to be "1 person?" Just sounds like multiple aspects of yourself. I wouldn't worry about multiple personality disorder unless youb start acting like one person one day and a totally different person at other times.
