I think it's time to go dentist but I'm too scared to go.. I've never had wholes in my teeth before as a kid up until i was about 16 or 17 then i ended up having about 2-3 fillings and haven't been back since. Should I go for a check up?
That's not orally hygenic. From my perspective, it wouldn't be normal since I go twice a year. Also, you should try to overcome your fear, since you never know when you'll have another cavity.
I was in the same situation as you about 4 months ago. It had been at least 5 years since my last dentist visit. At 20, I decided to go in and start cleaning and getting cavities filled to start straightening my teeth which have been crooked my entire adult-teeth life. Since my last cavities were filled at 15, I was expecting a lot more, but the dentist said my mouth was in surprisingly good shape (I only brushed once a day. Riddle me that).
I used to dread the cleaning which was a piece of cake this time. I also went to a new dentist I had never been to before. The friendliest staff I have ever met at a dentist, and I've been around when I was younger. I've even had dental work done overseas! I actually look forward to dental visits now. Don't let those past experiences prevent you from getting the care you need!
I haven't been to the dentist in like 5 years... o.O I'm scared of them too. But atm I don't have enough money to see them... as it costs a lot for a single appointment.
But my teeth are fine .. I think, certainly nothing serious.

Just go it's better to have healthy nice teeth than just not go and let them rot. I'm not saying your teeth look terrible but I go to the dentist twice a year and my teeth actually look rather nice even though I've had about 9-10 fillings my whole life.
But dentists can be rather ridiculous too. I had the tinniest hole in my tooth where you couldn't see it at all but they still gave me a filling. But oh well... nice to have nice healthy teeth.
Your teeth are probably really messed up. When you smile do people smile back or run in the other direction? Have you ever killed any small animals by breathing on them?
Aww, you should go asap! I went without going for about a year. By the time I went back, I had ten cavities and I had to get a root canal. I have to go back basically every two weeks due to the "complications" I'm suffering from the root canal.
And no, I wasn't a sure junky. I have really weak enamel.
It's no fun :(.
