Is it normal that i have ultra-violent dreams?

Almost every single night I'll dream of ultra violent topics, such as murder, dismemberment, gore, cannibalism, etc. I've been having dreams like this for the last two to three years. I even had one dream where I witnessed a woman being hacked by axes and kitchen utensils, skinned alive, butchered, and stuffed into plastic ziplock bags. I'm a 19 year old female who is very peaceful and kind. Never in a million years would I even think to do something like that to another human. But nevertheless these dreams are fascinating to me, and I find myself wanting to have them. Is this normal?

    Yes.

    Last night I dreamt that a litter of puppies came through a hole in the cellar. They were infected with some kind of rabies-like virus, then they proceeded to cannibalize each other.

    The virus swept through the town, infecting so many that it turned into a ghost town.

    I hid from the monstrous beings that each infected person had become.

    But the virus was something that came from me, that had evolved.

    I went back in time, to try and stop this from happening, 3 times.

    I am not sure if I was successful.

    I first read that as "ultra-violet." I was thinking, "technicolor maybe, but not ultra-violet."

    No it's not normal. Having completely detached and rogue thoughts that are that graphic and violent coming in a purely subconscious form implies you have some serious mental issues that are unresolved. Either that, or are having someone astral project things into your mind while you sleep. Or maybe you are just a psycho killer waiting to snap!?

    I read a book about dreams if you have a dream about killing someone or if someone dies then a baby is just born somewhere on earth
