Is it normal that i have trouble having a serious relationship?

I'm a 19 years old virgin. I had 2 girlfriends, nothing serious, both of those relationships lasted about 2 weeks each. I've only been in love once at age 14 and she liked me too but I was too shy to kiss her or ask her out. Now at 19 i never had a serious relationship and I feel intimadated by pretty girls even if I know i'm not bad looking, i just freeze in front of them and do not know what to say... i'm tired of that and want to get in a serious relationship, i don't mind still being a virgin, i just want to have a girlfriend with who i can talk with and share a life with... what doesn't help is the fact that i am picky...at 17 i started working out and now that i have a good looking body i want my girlfriend to be fit and healthy too. Am i normal???

Sounds completely normal. Also sounds like youre just intimidated in the dating feild because you dont really have experience so you feel like you dont know the right way to do things. But i think youd be surprised if you came out of your shell and tried because there arent many guys who can sound so sweet ^^.

Why wouldn't you want a fit and healthy girlfriend? It is good that you do. You know what you want, so that is great. You aren't being picky.

I have been getting fitter in the past few months and when I thought about having a relationship, I know that I want a fit and healthy boyfriend too.

My only advice is: just say hi at first. Girls like it when guys approach them. This doesn't happen every day of our lives. A good girl will not judge you for not knowing what to say.

It may lead to a good laugh and further conversation. If you like a girl do not hesitate; go and approach her, or someone else will :D
