Is it normal that i have trouble getting back to sleep after 6:00 am

so here's the situation. I can't sleep at night. I guise that pretty much clears it up. I have no clue what it is. even after taking sleeping pills I can't get any sleep. whats up with this. its kind of quirky but true. is this normal?

    tire your body and mind out, do something physically strenuous then read a book til you fall asleep. If you don't like books then it doesn't matter. When I was at school I had a book I had to read for my final exams. Most boring book ever, it put me asleep after twenty pages nomatter what time of day it was. So, if you don't like reading get a boring book which teaches you something about life so at least you're learning something along the way.
