Is it normal that i have the urge to capture and eat a squirrel?
My college campus is full of squirrels and I've always wondered about if I would be capable of capturing it and what its flesh would taste like. Is this normal?

I'm curious about what a lot of animals taste like. Hey, people eat cow, pig, chicken, horse, frog, dog, cat, crab, fish, duck, goose, turkey etc. if it's killable you can bet someones tried to eat it.
So yeah, I think it's normal to wonder, but I don't think it's normal to actually capture and eat one if you're on a college campus and not on some wild camping trip.
I've eaten squirrel before. It's not my favorite. If I was trying to survive out in the wild though, you better believe Alvin and all his buddies would be my dinner!
I've got three that roam around my house and one jumped on my leg twice.. I could help you out here.
How did my dog get online? ;-)
Just kidding. It just makes me laugh because my dog is ALWAYS trying to chase squirrels. I'm not sure what she'd do if she actually *caught* one though.
Chicken teryaki is sometimes called "Squirrel on a stick" so that's as far as I would go.
Squirrel meat tastes a lot like Rabbit meat, as long as it's not Rabid, you can eat it of course
I go hunting and get squirrels all the time they are very good eating the limit is 6 a day.
why not eat only those lil fuckers? eat them fried or stewed or even on the barbecue :D
Damn so it sounds like college students really are as poor as they say. ;)
haha maybe your just more connected to your human instincts?
Personally, I would never be able to kill an animal unless I really really had to, however I am a vegetarian, so that sorta explains it...
I'm pretty sure doing that is illegal though, so I'd just stick to regular old chicken.
I wouldn't say its normal but go ahead man! If you do tell me how it tastes
Cool, why don't you go cook up a tasty ol' squirrel, and dice him up on your breakfast cereal. You can keep his fur and make a glove.
You know, I would be open to trying this, as long as the squirrel meat was safe to eat...
Eat a grey one - they are more agressive and kill the red ones.
