Is it normal that i have random thoughts of violence?

Im not a violent person, nor i have any problems with this but sometimes when i see a random person passing me i think of what would happen if i would hit that person or something like that
Not that i have the urge to hurt them, i just think of what the reactions of the othet people would be and what the consequences would be

    What do you think will happen? Come on. They're going to say something like "what the fuck??" or "what's your problem??" and possibly proceed to beat your ass or chase you off. Anyone who witnessed it would probably do the same on behalf of the person you hit.
