What are you expecting to happen? You will probably not see your leg kick forward into the doctors stomach (hehe). But your doctor should have their hand over top of your knee when he/she is checking. He/She is feeling for the very slight reaction of your muscle. Don't you think that the doc would tell you if you did not have any reflexes?

Lol, everytime the doctor bangs on my knee nothing happens either. Do you flinch or automatically close your eyes when something comes towards you? You have reflexes.

If you don't have a gag reflex, however, that could make alot of men happy.

Do you have a spinal cord injury? That could be the reason!

Maybe your doctor is not skilled at testing your reflexes. If you're worried about it, you should get a second opinion from a different doctor.

Why not ask your doctor their opinion about it, or something?
