Is it normal that i have no real guy friends?

I am 18 years old going on 19 and I have never had a boyfriend, not even close really. I have never really had very many guy friends either. Therefore, I have never really gotten that close with a guy, even to just have a meaningful conversation. Guys have been interested in me before but they are guys who I have barely spent any time with and know barely anything about me. I just wish that it were easier to just get to know guys first and THEN even begin to think about dating them. Is it normal to be totally confused about how to get to know guys without always having the pressure of it being something more than friendship?

    I think that you should pick out some random dude that you think is cute and flirt and go out with him, he can be someone easily obtainable to practice on. Practice makes perfect. Make it like a goal of yours or something. Then poof you have a boyfriend. I love saying that POOF!

    Sign up for a sports team that has mixed gender teams.

    Indoor soccer is fun. Even some netball teams are mixed (guys MUST be doing it to meet chicks)

    It's fairly normal for private school girls not to have many guy friends, but you really do need to widen your circle of friends to include guys.
