Is it normal that i have no close friends?

I have many friends and they are all good friends. But I have no "good friends" who are close. None of my friends invite me to confide in them, and I don't feel good about being open with them? Am I alone?

    It seems to me you have many acquaintances and would like a few friends. Friends are few and far between in life and they usually last a lifetime, through thick and thin.
    IMO, a friend is someone who is there for you, even if it is inconvenient for them.
