Is it normal that i have never had a solid friend circle?

As it's coming close to the end of high school for me, I've noticed that almost everyone is in a tight knit friend group. I've never been in a friend circle where everyone was friends with everyone else. I'm very good friends with 1 or 2 people from certain groups but that's about it. I wouldn't say I'm shy because everyone knows me and I'm always happy to talk to anyone. It just worries me that I won't be able to become part of a solid friend group for quite some time. Is anyone currently in, or has been in this situation?

Feel free to ask questions, I'll answer as best I can.

It doesn't matter how many friends you have, what's important is the quality of the friends you have. I guarantee you, 90% of those close circles will not be in tact in two years.

My friends have changed just about every school year. I don't really have a certain "group" I hang around, it's more of who is around me and necessity if anything.

friendship will develop were you go to. so if you have the will to go somewere else and progress in life all of those ''friendships'' mean nothing

chances are you probaly wont know most of these people by the time you graduate

people are everywhere , you'll make friends where you work, hobbies yo do, at uni or whatever, nightlife etc

what you need tothink about tho, is it is the QUALITY of the friends you have not the QUANTITY

think of it like this, would you prefer to have ten friends that you barely know all in the same group or would you prefer a handful of friends that you can trust and actually talk to proper?

    You're still young still.

You'll make different friends in College. Perhaps even with people you would think you wouldn't be friends with. I wouldn't worry about having a solid circle of friends because you never know if you and your friends are going the same places. Yeah, it's nice to keep in contact with 'em and what not, but you'll make new ones.
