I am 19 and in college and have never had a boyfriend or gone out on a date. Ever. I have friends and think that I am a normal and friendly human being.
But I'm pretty sure this ain't normal.....O___O
Be picky, and save yourself the grief that us *ahem* "less picky" individuals have had to suffer.
You don't have to date by a certain age. In fact, coming to know yourself and growing without having to deal with boy-drama is a good thing! So, just focus on yourself, your current relationships, and your school. Don't go on dates just because you feel like you have to... bother only with someone you think might be worth the trouble (believe me, they're trouble!) If a guy comes along soon, great! If he comes along later, even better! But you're 19... trust me you're not going to end up a hermit.

No, its completely normal. Especially if you're looking for something serious. For example, with myself, I won't settle for/with anybody unless I feel an actual connection with them. And honestly, if you want to call someone your boyfriend, you want it to be worth it. You wanna actually feel something strong, you know? Don't just jump into any relationship just for the sake of saying you have a boyfriend. Its just not worth it.
I think you should just give it time, and you'll find somebody who is definitely worth it. Don't worry, he's out there, and he's waiting for you.
don't worry, its normal. I didn't have my first bf till i was 19 (im 23 now) and i'm pretty sure i'm going to marry him =) im sure the right one will come along, you don't need to rush anything.
