Is it normal that i have never been in a relationship?

I'm 18 years old and I have never been in a relationship or even had my first kiss (besides a few truth or dare kisses when I was a kid). I'm just a very shy person and I'm even more so around guys and no guy has ever been persistent enough to break through my walls. I'm also very socially awkward so I have no idea when a guy is flirting and likes me or if he's just being nice. And now the University I'm going to is 4 to 1 girl to guy ratio, so it feels like it's just never going to happen for me.

    Honestly this is so normal you wouldn't believe it. If there's any advice I got it's not that your young and have plenty of time. If anything its that you need to build some confidence. Try putting yourself out there. You can't expect attractive people to just come up and talk to you. You have to make an effort. I know talking to people can be scary but the more you do it the easier it gets. For a self esteem boost try focusing on the good aspects about yourself, like try looking in a mirror and listing all of the positive traits. If you can't, well, you're just not trying hard enough.
