Is it normal that i have never been hit on?

Never in my life have I been hit on. In my defense, I am a neat, clean guy who always dresses very well, and while I do get compliments for my clothes, I have never been told that I look good. I could walk into bars/clubs/or any get-togethers, and easily go unnoticed! Never could manage a date in high school or college - girls would go out with me only after knowing me (as this nice, funny guy (their words, not mine)). Even in the corporate world, I have seen my colleagues who perform worse than me get raises and promotions, just based on looks. Me, on the other hand, I have to work my rear off for it. Is it normal to be such an ugly duckling?

    Maybe people are just being nice when they say you are nice and funny. Maybe you have a bad personality on top of being ugly as sin?

    Guys are meant to do the hitting on, not girls.. that's probably why you've never been "hit on"

    You may have been hit on without realizing it. Never ever being "hit on" is seemingly impossible but I understand what you mean. Keep thinking positive and someone shall come your way.

    Are you an ugly duckling , just asking , I mean how do you look , average -better -worse , are you sheepish -confident ?
    I don't meen this in a bragging sense or anything like that but I've always had the opposite problem , people always notice me. I've been dressing way down for yrs now , older stuff , my work cloths , it just makes me really uncomfortable I hate it.
    But hey I still often get ignored in conversations or by nobodies so there ya go- can't win!

    Idk what these guys are talking about! Just be your self and don't try too hard. If its meant to happen it will!! I've noticed that once you meet someone and they're really nice ( from my mom says) that they become the hottest person in the world. Im sorta the same way. A lot of the time if you wait for something to happen it just might not unfortunately. But idk I'm a girl so ya.... GOOD LUCK! Ps i highly doubt you're an ugly duckling ;D

    Yes, it's normal. Maybe you just don't have any particular features that stand out.
    I think the more confident someone is, and the more they 'put themselves out there,' the more attractive they'll be. If you see yourself as an ugly duckling, other people may be more likely to see you the same.
