Is it normal that i have my entire life planned out.

Is anyone else like this. I have always had a very specific path for my entire life until the day I die. I have certain years set aside to get married, have children, further my education, travel. So far I've kept pretty close to it. A lot of people I speak to seem to want to live in the now, sometimes I feel like I'm living in the future tense. I'm not really comfortable about leaving anything up in the air.

It's ok but if one thing goes wrong your whole life plan is ruined

It's much better than not having a plan. But some points will have to change over time, but it's good you've got one :D.

It's great. More people should plan. Your plan will chg but you will probably replace it with a better plan.

It's fine having a plan. But don't be surprised if you don't stick to it in a few more years time. Things change. People change. Everything changes.

I am the same way. Pretty much have my entire life planned out - years in advance. Been doing this for years.

  • Its OK to have a plan. There's lots of here & now even so, and plans can always change.

If that way of life works for you than it's normal. I personally find it boring but that's me. Have you ever done anything spontaneous? The truth of the matter is you can say over and over that you have it all figured out but in all honesty no one does. Good luck.

I'd say it's normal. I mean, I have the apartment I want to live in, after I travel the Middle East aimlessly, all picked out. I know I want to retire to a barn in my hometown. It's best to live in the present, so as not to feel let down when that special person DOESN'T come or that job ISN'T what you thought, but, to some extent, we all live in a tense that's not the present (just be glad you don't live in the past).
