Is it normal that i have given up on girls?

I am 19 years old and about to enter my second year of college. I am told I am very good looking(offered modeling position once), but I look kind of young for my age. I think my problem is I come out as too nice. I've hooked up with a few girls, but never had a relationship. No one ever seems interested. I am not extremely outgoing but can be wild and funny at events and parties. I think I have given up on girls because they anger me. They always seem to talk about boys being shallow, but all I see is girls going for are those shallow kind of guys. I always hear girls talking about their dream guy such as an athlete and I begin to think how shallow that really is...Hopefully girls will change or I will change as we get older, otherwise I expect to live a pretty lonely life. Is it normal to feel this way?

    Hello there,

    I don't think you should give up on girls yet. You're just 19 so girls around you will be around your age. All teenagers (boys or girls) don't really know what they want when they're that young. Just like how boys only go for hot women with big boobs, girls will also go only for really physically attractive bad boys whom they know can't keep to just one woman.

    But as people grow up, they get wiser and then they realise that the ideal partner may not be the one with the biggest boobs but the one who can really be there for you every step of the way and give you emotional support. That time will come. You not having a girlfriend at the moment doesn't mean you're unpopular, but that you've grown mature way faster than everyone else.

    No women are stupid XD Go to men .. OO wiat was that bad advie thier is only two genders maybe flipping side might help

    I say you should. If you can not get a relationship you should not burden yourself with the hassle.

    men have to put themselves out there for a girl, and when you constantly get swatted down you feel like SHIT. hance lower self esteem.. that's why i given up too... a lot of people are lonely, even women because of their stupid power trip over men.

    I'm in the same boat, somewhat attractive, nice guy type. Seems like everywhere i turn, every opportunity i take to talk to girls i get swatted down like a fly. "oh sorry i have a boyfriend" even when i just ask if they want to dance or have a coffee. Yeah girls ALWAYS talk about how boys are shallow and they don't hit on us... because men have given up, because the average girl is so goddamn picky and think we just want to get in their pants, its fucked up. Men like you and me just want someone a companion, not every guy is just out to fuck. Average girls think they'll just wait for the hottest guy, or a bieber type, that's why most guys get rejected is because girls have ultra high expectation for a soulmate. that is so sad, that is why the human species is going extinct.

    I don't think u should give up on girls I'm a girl and I know I have talked about guys being shallow but only some guys I almost gave up on guys but I looked a little harder and found one and got his number don't give up on girls and live a lonely life just maybe take a break or look a bit harder maybe the perfect girl has been there all along but hasn't caught your eye yet because she isn't the best looking or isn't very loud and out going just keep trying u will find the right one

      I'm much older than you, and I felt that when I was your age and even now I do sometimes. I think you're a mature and smart guy, just look for the right kind of women, they're out their. Good luck dude

    Yea, if you don't understand what girls want in a guy, it's normal. Used to be right there with ya man... It takes work, but you can deff get plenty of girls. Look online for tips.
