Is it normal that i have fallen for my advisor for 4 years

I liked him from the start. He was 34 years old and married which made me sad when I first knew it. Then he became my advisor in college. We did not talk much for 4 years because he's always busy working. All I am sure is that I like him as a role model because he is a successful man in my eyes; he's good at teaching and has a great life. However, he is quiet and very cold to everyone including me. Now I am going to graduate but still feel attached to him (though I am sure he doesn't even notice it). I had butterflies in my stomach EVERY single time he sends me texts (about thematic papers), every time we accidentally met somewhere outside the college, every time he talks to me. It has been 4 years. Is it love? Is it normal?

Normal for a schoolgirl/boy crush but you know there's no future in it. Focus on being with people who are available as he is not and you'll get over it as you mature.
