Is it normal that i have extreme feelings for songs?

When I hear a song or instrumental I sense the mood of the song and doesn't just make me feel that, I get chills and my eyes water for sad songs even without lyrics. Rap instrentals with sick beats low bass and nice hi hat like band a make her dance make me feel invincible and confident (I'm really shy). I really don't know why.

I didn't realise those were extreme feelings. This happens to me. The amount of times I've said that I cry at music on here, I probably sound like I don't stop! I really don't do it that often, but music is pretty great. It has a major effect on my mood. To be honest, I personally didn't realise this was extreme, although I'm starting to wonder. I still think extreme is a bit far, but does it really matter? Music is fantastic, if it's having an effect on you, then I think that's a great thing. That's why I love music! I mean, isn't that why people listen to music?:S

    Yes, it's normal.
I am apparently a great musician, and I get EXTREMELY into the emotions of a song, especially when I am emotionally stable. If I'm unstable, I can't always feel it properly. But yeah, sometimes the right chord sequence or lyric can make me cry, and a cool beat or even the right key can make me feel super-energized or content. You're normal, especially if you're a musician of some kind.

I get weird sensations sometimes too while listening to certain music.

Insanely normal, music is supposed to change your emotions! When you're watching a movie and something tragic happens, the music will try to make you feel that way. When you're playing a game and you're at a boss, the music will try and reflect the intensity and danger. When a clown is dancing, the music will sound happy and jolly to make you actually like his presence instead of running away to protect your life. Hardcore rap music will make you feel like the baddest [censored] on the planet even though it is merely lying to you. Heartfelt music will have you in tears, reflecting and bonding with the song as you recount experiencing exactly what the song is portraying. If music doesn't have "some" kind of emotional effect on a person then I would be worried! It doesn't have to be extreme but at least something.
