Is it normal that i have dreams of my own family trying to kill me?

I have many dreams its been years since i've had a good dream.. I started having dreams of my own mother trying to kill me, but i dont know I mean she says she loves me, I have even had dreams about my brother trying to kill me and my mom it's just im scared!, but my brother always said that if anything he would give his life for mine. Is it normal that I have these dreams?

    Could be symbolic in some way. It's just a dream though, perhaps it really has no meaning. I hope your dreams get better.

    I've had many dreams of my family trying to hurt, kill me, or stop me from achieving something. Dreams do have meanings. Who knows what yours mean. I doubt that your family will hurt you, though.

    Hi there!
    Believe it or not, many of us may have dreams of our families and friends doing unspeakable things to us.
    This, by no means, suggests that they would perform acts like that in reality.
    Dreams are our way of sorting things out, of feeling and doing things that would never happen in our waking hours.
    You mentioned that your mother says that she loves you, and your brother told you that he would take his life for you - they may mean it. Dreams don't predict the future, either. Sometimes our imaginations run wild - and that's okay. It's most probably healthy.
    I once had a dream where my mother attacked me with a comb and tried to kill me on top of mount Everest. But I don't believe she would do this in real life!
    Try not to worry - these dreams usually fade over time, and talking to people may help.
