Is it normal that i have conversations with myself while i'm sleeping?

The last few weeks I have been talking a lot in my sleep. I sometimes will realize I'm talking....its odd. Whenever I notice it I stop because I can see that the person I'm talking to isn't actually there. I always talk to the same person too. My girlfriend Hanah. I don't know why I do this...it just kind of happens. Is it normal?

To be honest, talking to yourself openly is very healthy.

I talk to people alot when im falling asleep, its normal when your falling asleep or just waking up you enter the hypnagogic state. In this state you cant really tell the difference between inside your head and outside so you'll often have a conversation going on in your head but you will be vocally talking. I confused my ex alot because when we were going to sleep sometimes I would just answer questions that she never asked.

I do this to. Except I'm not aware when I mumble in my sleep, I just get informed when I do. A classmate of mine actually caught me doing this in class. It was kind of funny. Anyways, whenever I talk in my sleep it isn't so much that I'm having a conversation but rather saying my thoughts out loud. Sometimes they're coherent, sometimes they're not. Either ways, I'd say this is normal.

One time when I was young me and my uncle were crashing in the same bed and I had this habit of putting my legs up on people who I slept beside while I was asleep. So in the night I did this to him and he just threw my legs off of him and I was all like "what are you doing? Im trying to change the channel." yeah, I used to sleep talk too.
